The SFW business model is based on:

1. •a performing distribution and maintenance concept
   

1. •a simple, robust and efficient machine providing 50 to 90 liters per hour of drinking water from seawater or brackish water, which can be operated with solar panels
   

The SFW system aims at serving populations living under water-stress and is designed both for private and community applications.

A pilot project is in progress in Senegal since June 2011 in collaboration with local authorities and an enthusiastic population.

This projet is co-financed by REPIC, a platform of the Swiss Confederation.

The first machines are available for sale.
